We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to join our housekeeping team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge.

Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Guest Services: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Requests: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Facilities: Provide basic information on facilities and amenities.
  • Housekeeping: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Special Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Work Environment:

The Room Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads is essential.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
