As a project engineer/manager at Tetra Tech, you will be part of a collaborative team that values the contributions of all employees. The role involves managing design teams on projects from small mining roads to large design-build projects. You will develop, track, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Engage with clients to define project scope and develop proposals, budget, and project schedule. Identify and manage project risks. Manage change control of Projects. Authorize commitments of expenditure on the project and approve payment of invoices. Act as prime interface with client and other stakeholders. Work closely with construction trades in order to manage field activities. Undertake contract administration, resident engineering, and construction supervision. Work with multiple stakeholders including operations, maintenance, and engineering. Manage and coordinate multi-discipline engineering groups. Provide clear and concise reporting to different levels of senior management. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. Additional duties as required.
