**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Knight Piésold Consulting. As an Intermediate Engineer in the Civil, Geological, and Geotechnical areas, you will play a key role in various mining and hydropower projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and participate in geotechnical/hydrogeological site investigation programs
- Complete geotechnical and/or civil engineering analyses and design
- Oversee construction projects
- Coordinate technical work within several disciplines and groups
- Manage projects
- Write technical reports
- Prepare detailed proposals and schedules
- Mentor and train junior and intermediate staff
**Current Assignments**
The successful candidate may be involved with tailings dams, geotechnical support to operating underground and open pit mines, mine infrastructure, water retaining dams, pipelines, and hydropower facilities.
**Requirements**
We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Geological or Civil Engineering, registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO, and a minimum of 5 years of experience related to mining, hydropower, and/or infrastructure project development with a strong background in geotechnical analysis.
