Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules and supervise staff in various areas of responsibility
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
As a Shift Manager at MR SUB, you will work in a food service establishment with a fast-paced environment and physical demands. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. You will also be exposed to odours, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures.
