Key Responsibilities- Analyze industry trends and demand to design efficient and cost-effective Source-to-Pay processes.
- Collaborate with senior management across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Engineering to implement policies, strategic plans & objectives, and process improvements.
- Source, engage, and build long-term relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers, internal business partners, and stakeholders.
- Support business partners in preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating advantageous purchase terms and conditions where needed.
- Review and monitor contracts throughout the procurement process to ensure compliance with procurement requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with Legal and CISO to support timely security and privacy risk assessments and audits.
- Manage vendor agreement life cycles and renewals calendar.
- Establish, measure, and report on OKRs, KPIs.
- Collaborate with Finance to complete quarterly spend analyses, evaluating spend patterns, and identifying opportunities for cost savings or efficiencies.
- Monitor supplier performance, evaluate the financial stability of suppliers and vendors, and resolve issues or concerns.
- Partner with IT to integrate Source-to-Pay systems and processes with License Management and Spend Management systems and processes.
- Create and maintain training content and change management adoption materials.
- Promote a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
- Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely.
- Must Have:
- 5+ years of procurement and negotiation experience.
- Superior knowledge and understanding of software and SaaS contract terms and conditions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of different types of software and services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of information technology, software, and SaaS terminology.
- Demonstrated negotiating skills with the ability to adapt and improvise.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication and writing skills.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
- Ability to show judgment and initiative and accomplish job duties.
- Demonstrated internal stakeholder management skills – capacity to listen, build trusting relationships in all levels of the organization, understand and capture stakeholder needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the P2P process and ability to identify appropriate solutions for spend categories.
- Demonstrated ability to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work process, and work cooperatively to provide seamless customer service.
- Desired Skills (but not required):
- Experience implementing procurement, virtual card, and/or travel and expense solutions (e.g., Coupa, Airbase, Concur).
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
