About the Role

The Rockyview Day Hospital is an innovative alternative to inpatient admission within Addiction and Mental Health acute care services. This four-week program operates on a stabilization model, supporting patients in enhancing coping skills. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be a key member of the patient's treatment team, working as a primary therapist and case manager with assigned patients within the Day Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and intervention
  • Facilitate individual and group sessions
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in delivering care
  • Document clinical activities and participate in clinical consultation and team education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
  • Active or eligible registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
  • Work experience in acute psychiatric/urgent community-based mental health service within the last year (preferred)
