Project Verification and Validation Designer

At Alstom, we're committed to delivering high-quality transportation solutions that meet the needs of our customers. As a Project Verification and Validation Designer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our railway signaling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
  • Design and execute testing strategies to validate system performance and functionality.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the development of project testing strategies and plans.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in verification and validation in a railway environment.
  • Proven knowledge of Interlocking and Control Systems.
  • Understanding of planning process, including knowledge of risk assessment process.
  • Knowledge of Metrolinx & AREMA standards.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering.
  • Knowledge of Alstom platforms and products.
  • Design and data preparation processes understanding.
  • Engineering and system background.
