The Rider team is at the heart of Lyft's products, where we leverage data analytics to build the world's best transportation experience. As a Staff Data Scientist in this team, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, partner with product managers to translate data insights into decisions, design and analyze online experiments, and develop analytical frameworks to monitor business performance.

We're looking for a passionate and driven Data Scientist who can bring a quantitative mindset to decision-making and help us shape the future of ridesharing. You will be responsible for leveraging data and rigorous analytical thinking to inform product development, partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, recommend technical solutions, design experiments, and measure impact.

This role involves working with diverse stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, marketers, designers, and operators. You will need to communicate complex data insights effectively and influence decision-making processes. In return, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of Lyft's products and services.

We offer an attractive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes extended health and dental coverage options, mental health benefits, family building benefits, access to a Health Care Savings Account, 15 paid days off, four floating holidays, and 10 paid sick days per year.
