About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support multiple projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the existing code base, providing operational support, and developing enhancements to the system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of complex systems
  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting
  • Develop enhancements to the system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Requirements

  • 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree, or 2-year Computer Engineering/System Technology diploma
  • 5 years of professional experience in application analysis, design, development, and optimization
  • 4 years of experience working with web front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and popular JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
  • 4 years of experience working with web back-end object-oriented languages (Python,.NET, nodeJS, Java)
  • 4 years of experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Demonstrated experience building performant web APIs and a delightful UX
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues to peers and stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with Agile product delivery
  • Experience with cloud hosting providers (Azure, AWS)
  • Experience working with CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with TDD methodologies

Work Environment

  • 6 months with optional extensions
  • Negotiable hourly rate
