About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at ULS Maintenance & Landscaping Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the upkeep of outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaping features.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor structures, ensuring they are built to the highest standards.
  • Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Direct and coordinate the work of landscape construction teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain records of work completed, including materials used, labor hours, and other relevant details.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand blueprints and drawings to ensure that construction projects are completed according to plan.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure the necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to complete projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and resolve work-related issues, provide technical guidance to team members, and recommend improvements to increase productivity and quality.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work primarily outdoors, with occasional indoor work in an office setting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
