Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Trillium Recycling Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Route Planning: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
