Job Title: Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Brockton and Area Family Health Organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contribute to the development of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate referrals as needed.
  • Participate in health education and promotion activities to support the health and well-being of our patients and community.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and organizational performance.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Ontario.
  • Completion of a family medicine residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software applications.
