Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumber Journeyman/Woman to join our team at Connelly Mechanical Systems Ltd. as a key member of our plumbing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices in plumbing techniques and best practices.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and other personal protective equipment.
  • Judgment and team player skills.
