Job Title: Disaster Restoration Technician

At Inflector Environmental Services GP Inc., we are seeking a skilled Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our disaster response and recovery team, you will play a critical role in restoring properties and communities affected by disasters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure safe and efficient construction.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings: Assist skilled tradespersons in demolishing buildings and structures.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and debris from construction sites to maintain a safe and organized work area.
  • Support Tradespersons and Apprentices: Assist tradespersons and apprentices as directed to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Operate Power Vibrators: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure a smooth finish.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Repetitive Tasks: The position involves repetitive tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
Experience:
  • Will Train: We offer on-the-job training for the right candidate.
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 32 hours per week.
