Job Title: Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at D-KAMP SERVICES INC. as a permanent employee.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians, estimating time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and adapting existing illustrations to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of graphic designers and graphic arts technicians
  • Estimate time and resources required for graphic design and illustration projects
  • Adapt existing illustrations to meet client requirements
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
  • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment and coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
  • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides
  • Copywrite and conduct usability testing
  • Process files and paperwork

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Client focus and initiative
  • Team player with creativity and adaptability

Work Setting:

  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
