About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Razor King Barber House & Hair Salon Inc. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a variety of cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Dusting and Polishing Furniture: Dust and polish all furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and shine.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning Carpets and Rugs: Vacuum and clean all carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture to ensure they are clean and free of dust and dirt.
  • Disinfecting and Sanitizing: Disinfect and sanitize all high-touch areas, including door handles, light switches, and countertops.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report all lost and found items to ensure they are properly accounted for.
  • Facilities Information: Provide basic information to clients and staff regarding facilities and services.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Training Provided: We offer on-the-job training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
  • Permanent Employment: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
