Electronics Equipment Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Everguard Fire Safety Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician to work on a variety of electronic equipment and systems, providing top-notch service and repair in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing electronic equipment and assemblies, diagnosing and locating circuit, component, and equipment faults, and repairing or replacing defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools. They will also test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning, calibrate products using hand tools, complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, prepare cost estimates, supervise other electronic equipment service technicians, read blueprints and drawings, and provide customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
- Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
- Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- Calibrate products using hand tools
- Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
- Prepare cost estimates
- Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Provide customer service
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in electronics and experience working with electronic equipment and systems. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel regularly. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a trade certificate or diploma in electronics would be an asset.
