About the RoleThis job requires a minimum of secondary education and relevant experience in the transportation industry. As a truck driver, your primary responsibility will be to load and unload goods safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials, oversee the condition of vehicles, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
You will also perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of vehicle safety. Furthermore, you will receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo are also essential duties in this role.
Certifications and RequirementsWe require our truck drivers to hold an AZ class license. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. English is the primary language used in this role. You should have attention to detail, flexibility, and be able to perform repetitive tasks.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $55,000. We offer competitive benefits, including a comprehensive compensation package, which includes base pay, bonuses, and overtime opportunities.
