Dentalcorp Canada, a leading dental services organization, is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Southport Dental Clinic in Prince Edward Island. Our clinic is dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care with a focus on advanced technology and patient comfort.

We offer a wide range of services, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Our team is committed to providing a tailored experience for each patient, ensuring their unique needs are met with compassion and expertise.

Schedule:

Our ideal candidate will work 3 days a week, with a regular schedule from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This allows for a great work-life balance and the opportunity to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for:

  • Appropriately assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care
  • Performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
  • Serving as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients
  • Establishing and retaining patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on their expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behavior

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A completed Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree
  • Registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing
  • Valid CPR certification
