  • At Harman Elite Construction Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Construction Site Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting construction staff with various tasks such as loading and unloading materials, and operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Construction Site Labourer will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and assisting in the mixing and pouring of materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and equipment, and will be a valued member of our team.
  • Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Responsibilities
  • Assist construction staff with various tasks
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Support for newcomers and refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for youths
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
  • Support for Indigenous people
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees
  • Support for visible minorities
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
  • Working Conditions
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
