Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at First Call Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting tradespeople with various tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist medical examiners in charge with various tasks.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a team. You will be handling heavy loads and working in a variety of locations.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
