About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Whitby Furniture Outlet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality furniture pieces that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Production: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and bring them to life using your expertise in woodworking and cabinetmaking.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Materials Management: Estimate costs and materials needed for each project, and ensure that they are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organizational skills are essential.
