Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Humber College. As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for supervising and instructing nursing students in a clinical practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure student awareness of course objectives and provide a supportive learning environment
  • Effectively use available resources and carry out regularly scheduled instruction in the assigned clinical practice setting
  • Use effective teaching and learning strategies and evaluation techniques to assess student performance

Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing or graduate degree
  • Minimum of three years of relevant clinical nursing experience in Acute medical-surgical, Gerontological, Maternal-child, Mental health, or Rehabilitation
  • Preference given to candidates with teaching experience at the post-secondary level and a proven ability to work in a diverse, dynamic multicultural environment
