**Location:** Oakville, ON

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing additive manufacturing strategies, including support structures and build layouts.
  • Developing process parameters and strategies for advanced applications and new materials.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and providing feedback.
  • Designing process workflows for additive manufacturing.
  • Utilizing CAD for 3D modeling and preparation of engineering drawings.
  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in metal additive manufacturing application, process, and operations.
  • Experience in additive manufacturing processes, including laser powder-bed fusion (metal and plastic), electron powder-bed fusion, and direct energy deposition.
  • CAD modeling and drafting experience, preferably with SolidWorks, Ansys, and Magics Materialise.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Team-playing attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment and complex problem-solving abilities.
