Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at OneTouch Homes Construction Inc. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a 30-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades with attention to safety protocols.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to environmental regulations.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, with exposure to dust and potential hazards. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are not required for this position.

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English, and the work conditions are physically demanding with a focus on manual labor.
