About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Design Specialist to join our team at Arpac Storage Systems Corporation. As a CAD Design Specialist, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Blueprint Analysis: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Design Sketching: Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize product concepts.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Write specifications and estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Documentation and Quality Control: Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, and examine drawings for conformity and errors.
  • Collaboration: Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and provide estimates of costs.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
