Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at IHAUL FREIGHT SYSTEM INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Requirements:

  • Valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Willing to travel cross-border and for extended periods.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Flexibility and reliability required.

Work Environment: The work environment is physically demanding and requires flexibility and reliability. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime and travel for extended periods.
