About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Mechanic Specialist to join our team at IMP Group. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced mechanic who wants to work on complex aircraft maintenance projects.



Job Description


The successful candidate will perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul applicable to their trade on the Canadian Forces CC130J aircraft and complete the associated documentation in accordance with Canadian Forces and industry standards as well as Cascade Aerospace policies and procedures.



Main Responsibilities



  • Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul on CC130J aircraft in accordance with established standards and regulations;
  • Complete associated documentation in accordance with relevant standards and regulations;
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects;
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skill in areas related to aircraft maintenance;
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately;


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or applicable governing body) or military course(s) equivalent;
  • At least 48 months' experience performing duties within the scope of their trade and holder of Transport Canada AME-M license or DND equivalent certification/authorization levels;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Physical ability to work in a workshop environment and lift heavy equipment;
