Job Opportunity: Pest Management Technician
We are seeking a skilled Pest Management Technician to join our team at the Manitoba Government. As a Pest Management Technician, you will play a vital role in promoting social inclusion and safe housing for individuals across Manitoba.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pest elimination and integrated pest management in our housing portfolio.
- Work under the Manager, Integrated Pest Management Group to ensure the safe and effective delivery of pest management services.
Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record check with vulnerable persons check.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
- Hold a valid Structural Pesticide Applicator's license.
- Hold a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's license.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and other physical tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in pesticide application and pest inspection.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of pest management best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
