Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at Diamond Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, levelling and smoothing coats of plaster to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth surface
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces

  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
