About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Woodworking Specialist to work with us on various construction projects. As a Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instructing apprentices.
  • Estimating costs and materials.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Physically demanding work, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain accurate records.
