Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Northern Cleaners Whitehorse Limited. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Windows and Walls: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods.
