We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Seascape Advisory Inc. as part of our initiative to support diverse communities.

About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites, as well as supporting our efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Consult with clients to understand their website requirements and develop documentation to meet those needs.
  2. Design and integrate website-related code, ensuring optimal server performance.
  3. Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve desired server performance.
  4. Develop website architecture, considering scalability and user experience.
  5. Write, modify, and test website-related code, using various programming languages and frameworks.
  6. Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize website designs.
  7. Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Sources, selects, and organizes information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website.
  9. Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements.
  10. Create and optimize content for the website, using a variety of graphics, databases, animation, and other software.
Support for Diverse Communities
  1. Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disasters.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
  3. Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, such as anonymizing the hiring process.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary range for a senior developer in the industry.
