MRO Machinist

Job Description

Highly skilled MRO machinist required to set up and operate a variety of conventional machine tools such as engine lathes and milling machines to repair or modify components and tooling. Key responsibilities include repairing or machining tools needed for our repair facility, working alongside tool designers to create custom jigs and fixtures used in our repair processes, and collaborating with our in-house maintenance department for repairs and solutions to breakdowns.

Key Requirements

• Red Seal Machinist Certification or equivalent experience
• High level of personal integrity and ethics
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a repair or manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of blueprint reading and tolerancing using GD&T
• High level of accuracy in machining with the ability to hit tolerances up to +/- 0.0005
• Aerospace and CMM experience considered an asset
