Job Title: Chief Advisor Strategy Data and Performance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Advisor to join our Strategy, Data, and Performance team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising on the strategic directions of financial market operations, facilitating strategic thinking, and driving the execution of strategic components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on strategic directions of financial market operations and facilitate strategic thinking.
  • Drive the execution of strategic components, including defining business vision and determining end-to-end financial market targets.
  • Diagnose priorities and intervene to solve complex problems, ensuring the success of initiatives.
  • Support and coach transformation actors, staying abreast of best practices and integrating them into cross-functional processes.
  • Energize transformation governance by continuously enriching the transformation plan and documenting priority initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners (IT, Financial Markets) to influence the evolution of transformation initiatives and share the vision of operations.
  • Create a climate conducive to change, engaging cross-functional teams and involving necessary expertise according to transformation needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and eight years of relevant experience OR University certificate and eight years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated influential leadership with senior management.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and wealth management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end analysis and delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to quickly grasp and solve complex issues and make relevant recommendations.
  • Proven ability to learn a business domain and highlight key elements.
  • Demonstrated change management skills.
