Key Responsibilities:

  • Farm Management:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the farm, including animal care, feed management, and equipment maintenance
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve farm efficiency and reduce costs
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and train staff in various areas of responsibility
    • Recruit, hire, and manage staff to ensure adequate staffing levels
    • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the farm
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
    • Make informed decisions about resource allocation and investments
  • Animal Welfare:
    • Ensure that animal welfare is prioritized throughout all aspects of farm operations
    • Develop and implement programs to promote animal health and well-being
    • Collaborate with veterinarians and other experts to address any animal health issues

Requirements:
