Embedded Infotainment Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software architect to join our team at Ford Motor Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in the area of in-vehicle infotainment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software for in-vehicle infotainment systems using QNX and Android frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and implement product features.
  • Develop and maintain software applications for infotainment systems, including features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, media, and navigation.
  • Work with automotive product development processes and quality standards, such as A-SPICE and Agile.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and data analytics to derive and implement new features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in software development on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software for in-vehicle infotainment systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with QNX or Linux operating systems.
