The Volunteer Centre of Calgary is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Fund Development and Partnerships to join our team.
About the Role:
The Director of Fund Development and Partnerships will be part of a committee of Fund Development Directors who help to execute national-scale fundraisers and establish collaborations with other organizations to support the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to secure funding for the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and partners
- Collaborate with the Fund Development committee to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
- Manage and track fundraising efforts, including grant applications and sponsorships
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Volunteer Centre of Calgary leadership team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, and partnership development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
