Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Stockroom Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for managing the Williamsburg Township Receiving programs for MRO, indirect material, Major Maintenance, and Capital projects.

In this role, you will establish receiving goals and objectives, develop innovative Storeroom inventory ideas, and implement solutions to reduce cycle count deviations and material loss. You will also assist the Engineering, Maintenance, and Storeroom departments to enhance performance, reliability, and quality improvements at the site through receiving initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Receive equipment and materials required by Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and QA to operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee material and part delivery to appropriate locations (Storeroom, Bin Location, Front Office, Production floor, Managers offices, etc.).
  • Receive MRO parts to maintain inventory levels as well as purchase requests generated through work orders. Coordinate with planner/schedulers and maintenance team leaders on all new part set ups with accurate descriptions, proper part numbers, and internal control ID's.
  • Develop and report on Purchasing/Receiving KPI's. Maintain all vendor, receiver, capital, and major maintenance project files.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure work order parts and services are received and distributed on a timely basis.
  • Work closely with accounting and accounts payable to ensure invoices and accruals are handled timely and accurately.
  • Maintain daily interaction with the Maintenance department to monitor and maintain service levels with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience working with inventory management, ordering, purchasing, or data entry in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.
