Ophthalmic Specialist

Island Health is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Specialist to join our team in the Comox Valley. This opportunity offers a unique blend of outpatient clinics, minor surgeries, and cataract surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing eye exams, diagnosis, and care plans for patients
• Leading outpatient clinics in office three days a week
• Performing minor surgeries one day a week
• Carrying out cataract surgeries one day a week
• Collaborating with colleagues at North Island Hospital - Comox Valley

About the Role:

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Medicine
• Licence to practice medicine in Canada
• Experience in ophthalmology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
