About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft maintenance and inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and repair station/quality control manuals.
  • Perform service inspections of aircraft or components in accordance with applicable parts of chapter 14 CFR (FARs) and the manufacturer's maintenance manual.
  • Assist other inspectors in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification.
  • Provide data to customers as requested.
  • Adhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadership.
  • Perform conformity inspections of engineering documents to most current design per assigned aircraft.
  • Weigh aircraft using the pre-weight checklist.
  • Initiate RED's and RFE's as required.
  • Research aircraft drawings and technical data.
  • Update Maintenance Manuals with revisions as required.
Requirements
  • Typically 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience.
  • 2 to 3 years' inspection experience - preferred.
  • 1 year aircraft maintenance experience with Bombardier business jet aircraft - preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals.
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or appropriately rated Repairman Certificate.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Working knowledge of business aircraft inspection programs, for example, final close out procedures, engine installations, and in-process inspections.
  • Working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alteration as related to inspection buy-off.
  • Working knowledge of Repair Station/Quality Control Manual.
