As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our nursing staff to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing skills, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Nursing Assistant - Resident Care Specialist, you will work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, with opportunities for overtime. You will be required to work collaboratively with our nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents.
Job Requirements
- Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Know Symo software (an advantage)
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ
