Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Broadview, SK location at Pharmasave #430. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for performing specific dispensing functions under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process written prescriptions from customers.
  • Locate and select prescription containers, count and pour medication, and attach labels.
  • Ensure that original containers, prescription container contents, and labels are checked and initialled by the pharmacist.
  • Phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
  • Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists, including maintaining a clean and professional pharmacy environment, managing inventory, and assisting with third-party billing.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and multitask.
  • Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
