Senior Mechanical Engineer for Gas Turbine Operations

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer for Gas Turbine Operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work in our Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) / HIT & Contractor Operations Division.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading power generation companies (GE Siemens MHI BH) and high proficiency in maintenance and operation of gas and steam turbines (heavy duty). You will work in Dhahran Shops, which has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities driven by our skilled and experienced workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Consult on normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards.
- Offer technical support for daily maintenance and machine shop operations.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment while identifying cost reductions and process improvements.
- Introduce and implement the latest technology in repair methods.
- Design engineering packages as needed.
- Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers.
- Attend vendor and customer exchange meetings.
- Participate in standards value engineering efforts.
- This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the mechanical field.
- Strong background in investigating turbine malfunctions, managing turbine outages, and overseeing field projects.
- Knowledge of turbine component repair processes and quality control.
- Experience in mechanical design, troubleshooting, and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment, including Gas and Steam turbines.
- Experience working with OEM facilities like GE Siemens MHI and BH.
- Proficiency in English reading and writing.
