Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to patients in a nursing home setting, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Requirements:
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
