About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at ALMAC MOTOR HOTEL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hotel premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Waste Management: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Specialized Tasks: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, and ensure that all areas are clean and hygienic.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
