We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at Smart & Biggar. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure the effective implementation of quality systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Provide training and coaching to quality assurance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage and maintain quality records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science, food science, or chemistry.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a quality assurance role, with a minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and regulations in a food manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to analyze data and generate value-added insights.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems.
