Job Title: Family Support Facilitator

We are seeking a qualified Family Support Facilitator to join our team at Abiona Centre. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in empowering young mothers by leveraging the strengths of their families and communities.

About the Role
  • The Family Support Facilitator will utilize the proven Canadian High Fidelity WrapAround Service to guide individualized planning processes and address the diverse needs of each young parent family up to 29 years old.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on facilitating goal attainment based on client needs.
  • The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in youth or family support work and case management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in Child and Youth Care or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health is an asset.
  • Training in High Fidelity WrapAround facilitation will be provided, and successful completion of the Certification program is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in infant and early childhood mental health, including identifying family protective factors.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client information systems.
