Job Summary

Thetasoft Inc. is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, cutting, and fastening underlay and underpadding.
  • Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Estimate and Prepare Materials: Estimate costs and materials needed for each project and prepare tenders and quotations.
  • Support Newcomers and Refugees: Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
