Job Title: Woodcraft Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Aspen Sundecks.

About the Job:

• This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $**55,000 - $70,000 per annum** based on experience and qualifications.
• The successful candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry, with no degree, certificate or diploma required.
• The work site environment will be noisy and outdoors, with tasks involving handling heavy loads and physically demanding work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

• Physically demanding work requiring good physical health and stamina.
• Frequent handling of heavy loads and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
